12 M2 NIVTEC STAGE WITH TRANSPORT TROLLEY AND STAGE SKIRT

“We are happy with the Nivtec stage, which has replaced an old hand-built stage that was built on a steel frame. It was heavy and quite unwieldy to work with, so we’re happy that the Nivtec stage is quick and easy to set up,” says Lars Olesen, chairman of the assembly hall’s board.

The community center in Central Jutland has just been renovated and it was in this context that the board decided to invest in a new mobile stage. All kinds of parties are held here – from birthdays to confirmations and diamond weddings. The stage is usually set up as a 4×3 meter stage, and the vast majority of guests like it that way.

“It’s only if a company needs the space for a buffet or similar that we take it down. Then we just put it on the transport trolley and drive it to the warehouse. It’s easy to do. The musicians think it’s a very nice stage, and our regulars, who also knew the old stage, are happy with it,” says Lars Olesen.

Overall, Lars and the team behind Isenvad Forsamlingshus are happy with the stage and Scenesalg.dk
“The scene is exactly as we expected”.

12 M2 NIVTEC STAGE IN HEIGHT 40 CM

“The scene is top notch!”

Our customer (Sheraton Hotel in Stockholm) is very happy with the stage, which more than meets their expectations. “Ordering and delivery went smoothly and as the website clearly shows the products, there were no surprises. I hope to order more of your products soon.”

36 M2 STAGE IN HEIGHT 80 CM

“We saw two stage systems live and chose Nivtec, because you can set it up with your bare hands – without a lot of couplings and other gear, and Scenesalg is very “Jutlandic” – no grand gestures or sales talk, and we like that here in Jutland”.

Nøvlingskov Efterskole had two stage vendors visit, so they could experience the different stage systems “live” before they made their choice.

“When we saw the scenes being set up, it quickly became clear that it had to be Nivtec. The other system had to be assembled with a lot of couplings, and if we had a scene like that, half of the couplings would end up on the floor afterwards and be lost,” says janitor Harry Frost.

Got the number to an experienced stagehand

Before the purchase, Harry Frost also got the number of a party rental company in central Jutland, who has had Nivtec for many years and who also had experience with other stage systems.

“It was nice to be able to call and talk to an experienced stage rental company without a salesperson in between, and it is his opinion that Nivtec is by far the easiest system to work with.

But actually, Claus from Scenesalg was very “Jutlandic” when he was out showing off the stage. No grand gestures and sales talk, which we like here in Jutland. Overall, we have only positive things to say about both Nivtec and Scenesalg.dk – we can highly recommend them,” says Harry Frost.

54M2 NIVTEC STAGE WITH TELESCOPIC FEET

“It takes about half an hour to set up our 9x6m2 Nivtec stage, because it has to stand on uneven ground and be aligned with the telescopic feet. With our old stage system, the same size stage took over an hour and a half to set up, and the old stage was also heavier.”

Among other things, HK Telte from Kolding does Oktober Bierfests throughout Scandinavia and for that they use Nivtec podiums, both because they are quick to work with and a good bit lighter than the stage system they had before.

“We notice that we save time with the Nivtec podiums, because the stage is so much easier to set up. It only takes about half an hour to set up a 9x6m Nivtec stage – even if the ground is uneven and we need telescopic feet to align the entire stage.

With the stage system we used before, it took a bit more than an hour and a half to set up the same size stage, because all the podiums had to be clamped together with clamps. And time is important – both when it’s your own hours and when you have to pay others for it,” says Henrik Jensen, owner of HK Telte.

Henrik discovered the Nivtec system at an industry trade fair where Scenesalg.dk was exhibiting.

Certification provides credibility

“The entire ordering and delivery of the stage went really quickly and smoothly, and I can definitely recommend both the Nivtec system and Scenesalg.dk. As a party rental company, it is also incredibly important that Scenesalg.dk has had the entire Nivtec system certified and approved by the Danish Technological Institute according to the new 2015 rules for stage constructions that are over 1 meter in height.”

“It’s true that we’re not setting up very tall stages yet, but it’ll happen all of a sudden, so to buy a system that is approved and certified is insuring the future. Otherwise, you won’t be allowed to set up a stage over 1 meter without having to apply for a building permit every single time, and for the municipalities that we have as customers, the approval also provides credibility and security,” he says.

18M2 STAGE WITH EXTRA WIDE STAIRS AND TROLLEYS

“The scene works insanely well. It’s a really good, well thought out system and comfortable to work with. We give it 5 out of 5”

Højby Friskole and SFO near Odense bought an 18m2 Nivtec stage with an extra wide staircase (2 m) and transport trolleys in the spring of 2020.
“I have nothing but praise. The stage works insanely well. It’s easy to set up – and if you have two people, you can set up quite a lot of stage in a short time, and when it’s not in use, it takes up a lot less space than our old stage because it’s on carts. They’re very good. I’m glad we didn’t skimp on that,” says Peter Isak, janitor at Højby Friskole in Odense.

In the past, the school built its own stage.
“With beer crates, which we then put waterproof plywood sheets over and screwed in place, and then we had a 25 cm high stage. We’ve had that for the 20 years I’ve been here, but it took a lot of time to unscrew and screw on, and it took up twice as much storage space as the new stage,” says Peter Isak.

Strict requirements from fire and emergency services

The fact that the Nivtec stage is certified up to 2.4 as both stage and grandstand also made a difference when Højby Friskole chose the stage, even though they don’t plan to build very tall stages.

“It’s as if all the people from the Fire and Rescue Service who check scenes have become much more strict. They’re cracking down on the tiniest things, so it’s good that we have paperwork to prove that everything is in order – also because of the fire hazard. Now we can sit back and say that we’re trouble free,” explains Peter Isak.

Due to corona, the stage hasn’t been used much yet.
“We will use it for the most important day of the year – the school’s big Christmas tree party with Christmas plays, Lucia procession etc. with 600-700 people and for events in the after-school program and when a class has made a play and many other things. The stage is so easy to work with that we will use it much more than the old one,” says Peter Isak.

He has no suggestions for improvements.
“I haven’t discovered anything that I think could be done better. However, we can’t do it in quite the same time as the two builders who set up the scene in the video – we take 1-2 minutes more,” he says with a smile.
