Electrical wire setup (standard)

Our mobile stages are quick and easy to set up. Both sides are rolled in and out with a controller. So no heavy lifting or fussing.

As a standard, the 36 m2 + 38 m2 mobile stages come with a winch at both the front and back and a set of wires. First, roll one side out with the controller. Then you retract the wires slightly and move them to the other side to roll it out.

Finally, retract the wires slightly and use them to raise the roof – with the controller.

When you pack up the mobile stage again, do the same thing in reverse order.

It takes a lot of the hard work out of mobile stages.
In fact, the stairs are now the only thing one person may find difficult to
install by themself (it is 1 m wide due to legal requirements).

The mobile stage has an integrated 12V battery that is easy to charge.

Electric-hydraulic roof lift

It is also possible to get the mobile stage with an electric-hydraulic roof lift and two sets of separate cables and winches for each side – as accesories.

This makes installation even faster and easier because you don’t have to move the wires from one side to the other – and finally to the roof. And you don’t have to coil the wires either.

The setup of the sides is the same as the electric wire version, except that each side on the mobile stage has its own set of wires and winches.

The roof is lifted up and down with electric hydraulics, also with the controller. The tempo can be adjusted using two levers on the front of the mobile stage.

For a 48 m2 mobile stage, it costs 26.250 DKK to have the mobile stage delivered with electric-hydraulic lifting of the roof and separate winches and cables for each side.

The mobile stage has an integrated 12V battery that is easy to charge.

This is what the controller looks like for the standard setup, with one set of wires and 2 winches in total.

Popular extra equipment

PA WINGS

Certified for a load capacity of 500 kg on each side.

ANEMOMETER

Approved by the Danish Technological Institute. With special fittings.

TRAILER LOCK

From Al-Ko. Both for parked and mounted mobile stage.

RAMPS

For technical equipment or wheelchair accessible.

Flat or arched roof

You can choose between a flat or curved roof on the 48 m2 mobile stage. The price is the same.

Flat roof

Flat roofs are by far the fastest model to install because the roof is faster than the curved model. The roof is lower at the back of the stage to allow water to run off when it rains.

Roof and corner trusses

A flat roof can take a little less weight in the roof, just under 1 ton for a 48 m2 mobile stage, evenly divided between the roof trusses.
Each corner truss can take 50 kg, and possibly more. PA wings (additional purchase) are certified for up to 500 kg on each side.

Arched roof

Arched roof is the best-selling model because it’s a great-looking mobile stage when set up. But the curved roof also takes longer to set up than a flat roof mobile stage.

Roof and corner trusses

A curved roof can take a little more weight in the roof, about 1 ton for a 48 m2 mobile stage, evenly distributed across the 4 roof trusses. Each corner truss can take 50 kg, and possibly more. PA wings (additional purchase) are certified for up to 500 kg on each side.

2/3 setup

Our mobile stages can also be set up in a smaller 2/3 setup.

Here’s a 36 m2 mobile stage set up 2/3 up, so it’s 24 m2. A 12 m2 can also be set up as an 8 m2.
It provides a more intimate stage for smaller concerts and when the mayor is giving a speech.

With a 2/3 setup, only one side of the mobile stage and the roof are set up, so it’s also a quick and easy solution. And the heavy-duty jack legs ensure that the mobile stage remains stable and secure.

We’ve had the 2/3 setup certified and approved by the Danish Technological Institute.

Full setup

Here’s the same 36 m2 mobile stage that’s on a festival job with full setup.

Here the roof is at a height of 5.1 meters and the stage is 6 x 6 meters.

And the optional PA wings with a certified load capacity of 500 kg on each side are also set up for line arrays.

It’s the classic setup of a 36 m2 mobile stage.

We have also had it certified and approved for year-round use by the Danish Technological Institute (just like our mobile stages in other sizes).

Certifications

Our 48 m2 mobile stages with curved or flat roof are certified by the Danish Technological Institute for year-round use and up to 17.8 m/s. We also have the 2/3 setup certified.

In Denmark, mobile stages and scenes where the stage floor is over 1 meter in height – or the stage roof over 50 m2 – must be certified by the Danish Technological Institute or you must apply for a building permit from the municipality every time you set up.

Car and driver requirements

Our 48 m2 mobile stages are built with a maximum permitted total weight of 2700 kg and can be driven with a regular trailer driver’s license.

But the “empty weight” is only about 2400 – 2500 kg – depending on the roof type, flat roofs are slightly lighter than curved roofs, and electro-hydraulic roof lifting is slightly heavier than the standard wire setup.

So, depending on how powerful a car you have for towing the mobile stage, you can choose to have all or some of the loose equipment in the car that’s towing or have it all strapped to the mobile stage.

About Stagesale

We have been selling mobile stages throughout Scandinavia since 2005, and were the first to have certified mobile stages in Denmark in 2015.

The new 2024 models are being developed in collaboration with a German engineering company that specializes in mobile stages and a factory with many years of experience in mobile stage production.

All our mobile stages are custom-built to meet the certifications of the Danish Technological Institute and can only be purchased from us.

We’re bringing a new stage home to Slagelse at the end of January 2024, and it will be set up 2/3 in our large storage tent, so it’s possible to come and see it in all weather conditions – by appointment.
