Nivtec STAIRS OF SCENE PEDESTALS
FLEXIBLE HEIGHT AND WIDTH
Choose the height and width of the stairs from event to event.
A 2 meter wide musical staircase one day, and a single
staircase the next.
CORRECT STAIR STEPS
The step is placed over the stair bolts on the step below, like on a real staircase. This prevents your foot from going in too far.
EASY TO ATTACH HANDRAILS
The Nivtec railing pulls down over the railing bolts, so it is quick to install and very solid.
Choose whether you want handrails on one or both sides. Or not at all.
Attach the stairs to the stage
Easily clamp the stairs to the stage with
Brackets. We also have special brackets for grandstand stairs.
STAIRS CAN BE DIFFERENT FROM EVENT TO EVENT

Stairs for BOTH INDOOR AND OUTDOOR USE
BUILD STAIRS FROM ORDINARY PODIUMS
You can use ordinary stage podiums to build stairs – this gives you great flexibility and the ability to change the stairs from event to event. The classic staircase is built with 100 x 50 cm podiums – but can also be built extra wide with 150 x 50 or 200 x 50 cm podiums.
The two meter wide staircase is especially good for musicals or schools where many children and young people have to go up and down the stairs at the same time.
All Nivtec standard podiums have a finol impregnated surface so they can be used both indoors and outdoors (outdoors up to 2-3 weeks at a time – if you use them outdoors all summer, they will eventually become unsightly due to rain and sun).
Nivtec doesn’t make the cheaper indoor podiums, but the finol-impregnated surface is easy to maintain, washable and you don’t have to paint the podiums.
TĂV approved according to EN 13814 and certified by the Danish Technological Institute.
Aluminium frame – Male and female sides – 12 mm plywood sheet with finol impregnated surface – Stack height 9 cm – Load capacity 7.5 kN/mÂČ – 750 kg/m2.
BUILD EASY STEPS
You need two stair bolts and two stair treads for every stair step, except for the 1st step.
Adjustable legs with screw +/- 3 cm
IVi recommends adjustable ones for stairs to avoid a “clonk clonk” sound when climbing stairs. The smaller stair treads are slightly stiffer than the large standard treads.
In aluminum, with load ring and adapter for handrails etc. Ă 48.3 mm.
Good for stairs, medieval churches and uneven surfaces.
Option of a good rubber floor protector.
Attach the stairs to the stage
It’s important that the stairs stay in place. The easiest way is to clamp stair treads to the stage with a 110 mm coupling – it goes from a stair leg to a stage leg.
Also available as 150 mm.
The N-F bracket attaches to the profile of both the stair platform and the stage platform. Used when there are no legs to clamp together.
Stair railing for a single step
Even if the stairs only have one step, it can still be a good idea to have a handrail. Both for the elderly or those with walking difficulties, and because it’s easy to see where to step off the stage if you’re a little nervous after giving a speech or singing.
Height 100 cm. Approved and certified for 100 kg/m. In galvanized steel. Ă 33.7 mm.

Available as a starter piece, three different sized middle pieces and two different end pieces, depending on whether the top landing is 39 or 50 cm wide. This way you can change the handrail from job to job depending on the stair height.
