NIVTEC STAGE RAILING – APPROVED FOR 100 KG/M
Stage railing
The railing bolt screws into the stage leg, making the railing incredibly robust and certified for 100 kg/per meter. This means you can have school students and audiences on stage – not just professional performers.
(Most stage guardrails are only approved as 30 kg/m fall protection and are therefore only for professional performers).
When should you have railings on stage? There are many opinions and rules about this – please contact us.

Grandstand railing
Special handrails for grandstands. Stand railings are required to be 110 cm high, have
vertical bars and be able to handle 100 kg per meter.
The two bottom railings in the diagram are for the side of the stands, one of which has room for a step.

Black railing
It is possible to have handrails and handrail parts powder coated black for an extra charge. Contact us for a quote.
Handrail bolt
The railing bolt is screwed into the leg (or an adapter if there is no leg).
That’s why the handrail is so strong.
Ø 26 mm. In galvanized steel.
Corner connector
In galvanized steel. Used when two handrails share the same bolt in the corners. You need 2 per corner.
Railing connects
In galvanized steel. Required by law to prevent small children from getting their heads down between two handrails. The bottom connector is used for the sides of stands.
Special ratchet wrench
19 mm with specially sharpened tip to remove plastic plugs from podiums. Used to put up railings and stairs.
Adapter for leg lock
Used when there is no leg to screw the railing into. You can also use a regular 20 cm leg instead. It’s more expensive, but it won’t be forgotten in the leg locks when packing up the stage and can also be used as a regular stage leg.
Ø 48.3 mm, in galvanized steel. 20 cm leg is in aluminum with adapter.
Special railing bolt
Ø 26 mm, in galvanized steel. Used when there is no multi-hole to screw the railing into, e.g. if you want to put a 1 m railing on the side of a 2 m podium.
Stair railing for a single step
A handrail can also be a good idea for a single flight of stairs. Both for the elderly or those with walking difficulties, and because it’s easy to see where to step off the stage if you’re a bit nervous after giving a speech or singing.

Stair railing
Available as a starter piece, three different sized middle pieces and two different end pieces, depending on whether the
top landing is 39 or 50 cm wide. This way you can change the handrail from job to job depending on the stair height.

Ramp wedge handrail
Used to close the “gap” at the top of the ramp.

The small trolley with case is great for railing bolts and other heavy items – it is
much stronger than a flieghtcase and although it is a bit expensive to buy, it has become a favorite in our warehouse.
Large trolley – fits up to 16 pieces of 185 cm railings – or a mix of 185 cm and smaller railings.
Small trolley – fits up to 14 pieces of 85 cm railings – or a mix of 85 cm and smaller railings.
All trolleys are made of galvanized steel and have good rubber wheels with brakes.
